The new Giggs album ‘Let ‘em Ave it!’ is out early 2010. New SN1 garmz are hitting the streets. Avit Clothing is available in Gigg’s shop! There might be an economic crisis upon us, but on the streets for 2010 it’s all about fresh material, supporting each other, collaborating and building towards a brighter future… Let’s stand united in our kingdom!
During 2009 Giggs has continued building on previous achievements. In April an Avit Clothing advertisement went to print on the inside and back cover of the last ever edition of Hip Hop Connection. The release of Slow Songs featuring Mike Skinner proved he can reach commercial success. Then with XL Recordings signing Giggs, who are the label that managed Dizzee Rascal with the album Boy In Da Corner. And the opening of the SN1 store in Peckham!
Giggs wore an exclusive jacket designed and printed by Avit in The Last Straw video, with a matching ‘Avithood’ design T-Shirt. We are particularly proud to have been styled on this video as it was released before Giggs was signed.
The concept of the track is Giggs having his say and telling those in the industry who have been trying to block him, to back off.
We chose Giggs to launch AViT’s UK talent photo shoots, due to his recent achievements, which got him international recognition winning the B.E.T award for UK’s best Hip Hop act 2008.
